bear.jpgI made this bear as a special request from a good customer...I haven't used this pattern for ages and it was really strange. It's a totally different head-shape to what I now do...and was odd trying to recall my old methods to recreate the type of bear that's in my archive because so much has changed in the way I work.

I think he looks different to my old bears but I still think he's kinda sweet...I might do another one!!!!

Thanks for the nice comments..I think it's really weird stepping backwards after trying to go forwards...and actually, I really enjoyed it since I had to re-make the pattern again because I always felt the heads were a fraction too big on the old bears....

Now I feel that by revisiting this design I have learned something new...that maybe I didn't get when I first made this pattern...I might do it again with another old pattern!!

Jenny, this little bear is just superb, I really think you should include this design back in your current range - he has turned out wonderfully.  That hair is to die for!!!

Jenney, He is precious! I have found that an old design usually works out much better than expected. Not sure if it is because we are BETTER at making them as time goes by.... whatever the reason, I have always been pleasantly surprized when using an old design

I think today my word must be 'adorable' because it seems to be the only appropriate word for all the lovely bears I have viewed today.
BUT this one seems to exceed the word adorable........ I'm not sure if this is a real word but.... 'covetous'
meaning I want .. gimme gimme gimme!!!!!NOW
