Lookie lookie!
That's my new boy!
I finnished him this morning.

Creamy white dense synthetic fur, iwith a 12 mm pile (I think).
charcoal glass eyes.
Grey felt pads.
Marabu Textile paint shades in grey.
A bell in each ear.
Stuffed with: only heavy polyester in the arms, kapok in the feet plus heavy polyester in the rest of the legs, kapok in the muzzle plus the rest of the head with heavy polyester, steel beads plus plastic pellets plus a little heavy polyester in the belly.
Pale grey twisted cotton thread for the nose and mouth.
Nose varnished with acrylic varnish.
An handmade leg tag with Aïda ribbon on which I cross-stiched "Sophie Z'Ours" on one side and "Je suis Mousse" (=I am Mousse) on the other side, with embroidery cotton.
A handmade necklace removable, made with seed beads plus a big fancy bead.
Enjoy!

Too bad he's taken.
I just want to pick him up and cuddle him. Yours bears have a speacial appeal to me.
And I LOVE the idea of a bell in each ear. Clever

He is positively, absolutely wonderful, Sophie!!
That combination of white and grey and silver really works--I love it
But . . . hand embroidered tags??? You're putting us all to shame
Oh, dear, you all make me blush!
To the ones who are interested, I will make more bears from the same pattern, using different colours for the nose and pads, and definitely different nose trimmings (no way i am able to trim the muzzle twice the same way!).
So stay tuned during the next months!
Oh, Eileen, embroiding tags is great fun. I love to make the tags unique for the bear owner. I often cross-stitch the name of the owner on one side of the tag.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
