Hi guys!

Is the word "BUMMER" not a great hippie word from the 70s??

Well I have to say out loud BUMMER!!!!!

This weekend is the wonderful Teddy and Doll show in Washington and the awards are going to be given out for the Golden Teddies. Garnet and I are proud to have our littl Polar Bear "whisper" as a nomination for one but terribly bummed out that we cannot afford to go.

We have no expectaions of winning however, and I am sure the winners have likely all ready been notified. Besides, in our category there were a few wonderful TT artist also nominated, ( Judi and Sue Ann). Very honored by the way to be in your company girls!

BUT!!!! We would absolutely have loved to attend. It will be a wonderful time I am sure.

Anyway!! Good luck to all the nominees and to all of those guys and gals going to the show and banquet!! Have a great time for us!!!

Louise & Garnet, I was in the very same position last year.  No money to attend EXPO, and the timing couldn't be worse... school started THAT week.  It's disappointing to miss such a significant event, but people understand.  And you'll for sure be there in spirit!

Good luck to your nominee, and to all the other GT nominees this year.  It's an outstanding group of artists and their work!

Congratulations on your Golden Teddy nomination, Louise (and to the other nominees from TT!) That is really too bad that you can't attend - I am sure it would have been a lot of fun!

Awwww Garnet and Louise.....Boy it is a bummer, and I so totally know what you are feeling.  Well not the nomination part....but the $$$ part.  I am so sorry.
