Hi and thanks for all the great welcome messages. I am so glad to have found this teddy group!
Someone asked me to post more information about Good Bears of the World (GBW). We are a charity; we have members and teddy bear dens throughout the USA and Japan. There are other GBW groups in the UK, Netherland and Canada. We all make money to buy teddy bears to give to children and lonely adults in trauma situations. My local den, The Disorderly Bear Den, was founded on June 29, 2006 and we have already given 24 teddy bears to the Family Violence Center of the local YWCA. Four generations of my family are members as well as others in the area. If anyone wants more information please post to me privately.
