Did you ever get inspired by music?
I have been playing a Van Morrison and Georgie Fame album over and over. It's a live session recorded in 1995 at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Cafe given to me recently as a gift and I love it!
So, here's 'Georgie' ... he can't play sax, or sing, but he sure can croon at you when you give him a cuddle!
Georgie is made from Schulte mohair ... this stuff is soooooo silky soft!
And he looks silky soft and cuddly...he's gorgeous Paula
Paula another All Bear wonderful creation..... you sure have been busy..
What a sweetie! I love the mohair, his expression, but I especially love his nose - a beautiful sewing job - but can I ask, how did you achieve the lovely satin-shine finish on it that the picture seems to give him?
Cheers
Kate
Goergie is beautiful! If music inspired you to make such a handsome bear....maybe I should break out the ablums!

Glad you like him ... thank you all for your comments!
Kate, his nose is embroidered in perle thread and then waxed with natural beeswax.
Thanks Paula!
I've read about the use of beeswax on embroidered noses but have never actually seen it. I've used Nose Shine on a couple of bears to try, but rather think I might prefer the satin sheen look.
If they would turn out half as well as the nose on Georgie, I'd be happy. Can't wait to try.
Give Georgie a hug for me
Cheers Kate
Good luck with the waxing Kate .. the trick is not to panic and to take your time!
Yet another stunning bear Paula
