We seem to be growing by leaps and bounds here at our "zoo". There is a little cat that we have been feeding for months. She had been so afraid that it took many weeks to get her to come near. She now lets me pet her and she has also brought a very special gift to me. She has four kittens that she decided should live here. I was almost positive that she had kittens about six weeks ago. She brought the kittens to me and is living right at the front porch with them. I have put a shelter box out for them and they immediately bedded down in it. It is so nice to know that she trusts me enough to bring her babies to me. We have totally lost count of how many cats we are feeding now, but I guess there is always room for another.
Also, I posted a little while back about the German shepherd we found. The vet says he is about 1 year old and obviously pure. He has not been claimed so he is mine. We call him Kaiser. My shepherd died last fall and I have been wanting another one so much. Well I guess I've got one now.
Hi Millie
You can call it destiny about the German shepherd.
It is so nice to hear about the cat and the kittens. Good luck.

I am so glad you got to keep Kaiser - I think he knew he was meant to find you - I was wondering how you were getting on with him. He is a gorgeous boy, and the kittens are such cuties. Aren't you a sweetie for looking out for them all.

A free zoo all of your own! Now that's amazing.
Kaiser is a very hansome dog, I hope you have a great time with him,
as for those kitty, how wonderful that the mamma cat trusts you so much, fantastic.
Good luck with your zoo...whats next I wonder!
Hugs Jane.
You all have an open invitation to the Potter zoo at any time. Warning: it gets a little hairy around here sometimes.
Wonderful news about Kaiser! I'm so glad he gets to stay with you. I do believe that's the way it was meant to be......he just knew it sooner than you did!
Cute kittens! Their momma may be cautious, but she's obviously no dummy. She knew where to take them.
