Whats a fuzzy slipper night? I'm guessing gossip, chocolate and maybe a little nightcap and I don't mean hats! Drat I bet I'd be in bed or just getting up! bear_angry

I have no idea what a fuzzy slipper night is either.  Is it an American tradition?

Yep, me too Amanda, I do like my sleep and all my buddies across the pond are all up playing while we Brits sleep the night away. Now if I'm not wrong if they stay up for a good long chat I could maybe join in at the tail end of there night when I get up nice and early...how about a late session USA and Canada?  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin

Yep!!!  ready and waiting Aleta  bear_grin   Maybe we could arrange two nights so people who work etc but live in England or aus can still join in...and people who can join in both can do so...will that work??

Yep, I think you're right, Aleta, we are due for a fuzzy slipper night. But of course, I'll have to have a cup of tea.  bear_original

Why don't the folks on the 'other side of the world' have a  Fuzzy Slipper Night when it's convenient for them? They deserve to have one too! So much fun!

What IS "a fuzzy slipper night"?

Fuzzy Slipper Night is when as many of us log on at the same time and we all chat in one thread about whatever comes to mind while enjoying our favorite beverage whether it be wine, martini, hot chocolate, tea, water, or glass of milk.  The term "fuzzy slipper" refers to Louise's love for a nice glass of merlot which Aleta doesn't care for because it makes her teeth feel like "fuzzy slippers" so Aleta enjoys something else...lemon drop martini, I believe.

Does that sum it up ladies?

Today was almost a fuzzy slipper day for me!!  I got to the car (thank God I looked down) I HAD MY PINK FUZZY SLIPPERS ON!!  Running out the door, I didn't even realize..they're so comfy.

Can I join in...my husband works graveyard shift the next two nites.  I can stay up late too.

It was good to see you at Doll Days, Aleta.  We had fun, didn't sell much but it was still fun.  The doll ladies behind us were a hoot!

Constant comment?  Hmmmm, well Chrissie, as good as that is, I'm thinkg more along the lines of ice tea and schnaps, or peach margarietas, ala Bobby Flay, or blueberry something with grand mariner and fresh blueberries and something fizzy.....and of course chocolate.

what time you all planning?

I was hoping Louise would pop in with a suggested time.  She hasn't yet, sooooo.....how's about 7pm...ish, Pacific Time.

All the different time zones make it so difficult for everyone to join in, darn it.  When it's 7pm here, it's 10pm on the east coast and 4am in England.  (I think that's right.)  I'm not sure of the time zone difference in Australia or New Zealand, or Africa.

I hope I'm not the only one talking to myself this evening.   bear_tongue

bear_original I'll be here. 7:00 sounds great!

Dilu, my hubby makes paper.  He works at the paper mill here. They make brown paper here, the kind that goes inside boxes.
I live above Brookings, near Newport.  I work in Newport at my other job.  We live east about 6 miles.  Did you see the Mona Lisa on the news, the one the guy did on the side of the hill.  It's on my way home.
