Providing you have one, where is your hubby tonight?  Mine's in Granbury, TX, at a poetry hooha - reading from his book that was published last year.

Hubs is in bed. He was supposed to be going away for the weekend but changed his mind this morning. And here I was sort of looking forward to some peace and quiet! Oh well!

Pirates!!  Ahoy, matey!  That reminds me.....we're having a Halloween party.  Any great costume ideas out there?  Since it's a poker party too I thought the King of Spades and the Queen of Hearts would be appropriate.  Any other ideas?

Hugs,

Think your idea of the card is great, Aleta - I don't have any better one unless you want to go as a pair of dice!

just popping in to say hello....it's 2.30pm Saturday here and I have almost sewn a panda today - and it's a big 4 inch one.  Dont think I had better indulge in the bottle of plonk I hve here - he might end up with 3 eyes.

ewww.. I LOVE Halloween parties.. I go nuts with costumes.  WE did one at work 2 years ago (hub and I worked together)...we were Fred and Velma from Scooby doo...we brought the beagle in dressed like Scooby

My hubs and I went to a halloween party and The Captain and Tennille.  You younger folks might not recognize those names . . . Toni Tennille and her hubby . . . music from the 70s.

I apparently should wear a costume to the Banquet at Schaumburg in October... I HATE costumes. Mom dressed me up as little red ridinghood when I was about 6. My grandmother made some snide comment that had me so embarrassssed (hm..... that tequila is working!) that I wouldn't leave the house. Never dressed up again!

So what should I be?

Little Red?
