Ebay.  I have a love/hate relationship with ebay.  I love winning.  I hate losing.  I have 43 items on my watch list.  41 of them are Halloween related.   :o

have you ever bid on something you really didn't want or want to pay that much money for but end up bidding just to win and beat that other person!!! lol...guilty!!! :redface:

<sheepishly holding up hand>

I once wanted to win some Hello Kitty socks for a friend who did something very nice for me and she was/is a huge Hello Kitty fan...so I bid on a few pairs...didn't win...was annoyed.

Then I bid on a bunch of auctions thinking I'd win one or two...I won them all and ended up with 40+ pairs of hello kitty socks...with only 3 or 4 duplicates...needless to say I wore Hello Kitty socks for a very long time.

Bid on something I really didn't want just to outbid another person?  Noooo.  I've paid a little more than I should for something that I really, really wanted though.  I'm a fool for Forget-me-Not bears and the original mohair Bunnies by the Bay bunnies and cats.

Shantell, I did something similar and wanted to shoot myself!
Sarah, I've also gotten caught up in the bidding war and again, wanted to shoot myself!
I learned from those lessons... only took once I'm proud to say!

Shantell.... I can't be friends with you any more after that comment! (The maple syrup one!)

Sarah.... waffles

Wanda..... this is how I answered that question a little earlier: I'm feeling like a piece of gum that's been chewed up, spit out, run over and is now smooshed all over the highway getting ground into the pavement!

Round things with holes in them you put in the toaster?  Well.....I don't think I've ever seen anyone put a doughnut in a toaster so you must be talking about a bagel.   bear_grin
