Someone asked if my photographer sister had snapped me with my bears when we got together last week. The answer is yes, she did! The pics were taken in a hurry at the end of the day and need taking again but on a lighter colour background next time, because my dark hair apparently didn't work against the brown of the background we were using for the bears, but anyway ... here are a couple of the photographs, warts and all! Next time I'm gonna insist on some kinder lighting out of respect for my 'delicate age'!!

I thought the pics would make a nice introduction for those of you I haven't been fortunate enough to meet yet. 
Pam, I had to grin when I read your comment! I've always hated having my pics taken and as a young girl, felt shy, awkward, ungainly and always cringed whenever I saw a photograph of myself ... by gum, I'd be so proud of those pics now! 
Time moves on though and all we girls ever see are the the bits we don't like. Isn't that odd? When I look at these pics, I see the passage of time etching its way a little too unforgivingly ... but then I catch sight of the twinkle in my eye and I think, 'as long as I've got my twinkle, life can't be so bad can it?'!! 
So, come on the rest of you ... does anyone else have some pics celebrating their passion for the bears they create, that they'd care to share? I'd love to see them!
