You allow a 3 year old to design a bear and choose the materials and colours.
She called him Boost, she seems to adore her cat???
I know have other children clamouring to be added to the list of mum can I draw one for you to make?
How cool! My children are grown, but I am working with a ten year old. She has made a couple of bears from patterns and is now ready to design her own. I will be working with her soon on that.
Hehe, I think that is awesome. What a treasure that little critter will be for years to come.
LOVE IT!
Bron I love him!! I've done this with my nephew and niece before, they have their own fur boxes so much fun to watch them create. If I have work to do and my niece is over she will always bring out her fur box and sit with me and work too...usually with scissors and glue...and lots of mess!! She loves snipping into that fur!!
It was really hard not to tell her do it this way.....
I just want her and the others to enjoy it and not worry about it. Details will come later if they are interested, for now it is just getting them interested.
That is such a neat way to bring out the artistic side in a child. My seven year old son loves to sing and dance and draw and just create things. It is so important to nurture their interests.
AWESOME!!! I think that thing is the too kewl. I admit, I can't quite make out the features. Are those eyes? But it just smacks of childhood imagination and innocence. There's probably a huge market for those on Etsy or eBay, seriously.
Good for you for encouraging it!
One black eye and one brown eye surrounded by the felt.
There are no other 'features' as such she was quite sure about it.
Fantastic.
How wonderful - what a treasure to keep!
Hugs

Imagine when she is designing her own toy line and you bring this out to show her the first item she designed ...... Love it Bron...
