So sorry about the puppies and your broken heart ! The puppies must of had something wrong with them to go so fast and both of them .Very strange.A sudden loss is always hard.I send you Lots of bear Hugs today.

Oh Sonya....How sad you must be over those darling puppies. It is not your fault. Nature has it's way and there was not a thing you could do about it. You did the best you could. Stop beating yourself up....many bear hugs to you....

Sonya, big hugs coming your way!!! First litters are tough...........I was really surprised that she didnt need a c-section!!! Small dogs are tricky!!! But I didnt know about fading pup syndrome.........when I worked for a vet I always helped with c-sections, and tube fed the babies until the mother could take over. I am so sorry for your loss. It is a learning experience, a tough one, but you will have success in the future! Pam

All of the support I have received from you wonderful ladies and gent on Teddy Talk has helped so much more than you can know. I am feeling better and finally figured out that I AM NOW A PUPPY. Sunshine wouldn't let me out of her sight. At first I thought she just needed the extra security. But I finally figured out what she is doing different. With her puppies, she would kind of circle her body around them to wrap them up and keep them warm. Last night she kept doing the same thing to me. She would climb up to my neck and try and get her little body around me before she laid down. So I guess I am a substitute puppy for as long as she needs me.
