Posts: 2,203My little Cavey is very sick tonight. She and her baby were fine this morning when I left for work but an hour later I got a call from hubs saying that she was shivering and that her eyes looked crusted. He couldn't find a vet that would even look at her. We found a surogate momma for baby. My girl had her last litter and we gave a piggie from that litter to the mom of one of my preschool kids. This piggie had a short stay At work with my moms boy piggie and that resulted in her bing pregnant. My piggie Chip and her piggie Areial had litters with in days of each other. Well I won't need prayers after all because as I typed this Chip crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

I know how unfair it is when vet are unable to help and cannot do anything for Guinea pig.
We used to have the same problem with our Guinea pig when I was a kid. It was horrible to see them loosing their life slowly.
