I liked him so much that I asked permission to use him for my Lemonade bear buddy for the golly that I was submitting. i felt Sue Ann's bear was a better bear than mine. Here's the pictures from the Lemonade Charity with her bear...
I resized the pattern, he is almost 3" tall
So a GreatBigGolly Thank You To Sue Ann, for sharing such a great pattern with us and being available to any new bear makers who have questions!

YES!!! I love the bears that have been posted in the Goldie Pattern Challenge Gallery, but there aren't very many. If you've made up the pattern, please don't forget to add a photo to the Challenge Gallery. Dilu, thanks much for pointing this out! I was really pleased to provide the pattern and I hope all of you who downloaded it enjoy making it up.
Here is Butternut, my version of Sue Ann's Goldie pattern. I wanted to use a small piece of alpaca I had on hand so I reduced the pattern. She is 11 inches tall. I used upholstery velvet for her paw pads and foot pads and made a collar of fall leaves for her. Her nose is perle cotton and waxed.
very sweet little guy, Patty. Very nice rendition of the pattern too. Truly adorable!

Thank you, Dilu. I had fun making him. Oh my, I just re-read your post above. I didn't realize your Goldie was so small. How cute!
And, of course, thank you Sue Ann!!
Patty, that's a really cute bear!!! What a charmer!
Thank you, Shelli. I was pretty happy with the way she turned out. It's a good pattern!
Wow, Patty . . . Butternut is really, really cute!! Goldie is very proud of all the new bears that have been made from her design.
