For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
My last show of the year is in just over three week's time and so far, this bear is all I have to exhibit! This is 'Dijon', a 15" cub made in alpaca. I need to get his friends made quicksmart!!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
I agree with Gemma he is gorgeous!!! but he would look a little lonely on a table all by himself, so you'd better get yourself busy
Hi Paula,
He is a beautiful bear and his name suits him..
hugs
carola
Hi Paula:
He is just so wonderful...what a great addition to the show.
Hugs, Nancy
He is fantastic ! Your alpaca bears are to die for (your mohair bears too in fact... Ok : all your bears ! ) !
He is wonderful Paula.......... love his name......I know what you mean time is of the essence.....so press on...
more strong coffee........ and late nights !!!!!!
See you there!!!
Hugs,
Yvonne.
Thanks ladies! Great to get your feedback ... just wish I had more bears to share with you!! Bear number two is now completed and sitting patiently while I knit him a waistcoat at breakneck speed!
Yvonne, are you exhibiting? If so, how are your bears coming along? I hope you and Marion are further ahead than I am, or the show promoters will wonder what's going on with us!!
Right, can't hang around here, must dash ....
By the way, would it be cheating to take 'Sunny Jim', my bear for the NSPCC along to help fill the table? I think I may need him and after all, it is to promote a good cause!

I don't think it would be cheating at all - just promoting your work...you never know, you may get a comission to make a similar one!
Can't wait to see everyone!!!
Yes Paula I am exhibiting.......but like yourself I am behind.....I'm just a slow worker.... but I've got problems with
my shoulder at the moment...so stuffing is agony !!!!!! but has to be done (OK just looking for sympathy) !!
Yes!...you take "Sunny Jim"....we would all like to see him in the fur...after all he is a very special; bear!
Hugs,
Yvonne.
I just love the fabric Paula!!!! He is just such a wonderful substantial looking bear. No wonder you call them "ALL BEAR"
Thanks Wendy ... I've only used this fabric once before and I really like it. It makes such a nice bear! It's Intercal's ALPS/7 ... I'm definitely going to order some more soon!
Yvonne, hope your shoulder feels better soon ... what a tricky problem for a bear-maker! I think I will take Sunny Jim, with a laminated placard to hold telling visitors all about the Dare to Care auction. That way he fills a spot on the table and works for his living too!
Perfect name for this perfect fellow!
Thank you Connie!
Paula another fantastic creation ... I do love your bears.
Beautiful bear, Paula. I love him.
Thank you both Patty and Patsy!!
Beautiful bear, and i look forward to seeing everyone there
Am having a hard time getting inventory made for my show at the end of this month, too, Paula! Good luck to us both! Fantastic, wonderful bear!
