Apple Dumpling DesignsI received this today in my email from a new collector with a very sweet note. It just completely made my day. Selling is the part I really dislike and I get frustrated, disappointed and often wonder why I'm doing this but little things like this make it all worthwhile for me.

Posts: 8,574Honey those of us who are lucky enough to have one of your babes living with us can attest to their perennial good nature, willingness to listen to every complaint, gripe or whine, and refusal to be deterred in their quest to bring love to the world.
And for me, I have had them babysit the gollies in remarkable ways.
So I am not surprised your lady wrote you, but i am very happy she did. Because we all need confirmation now and then.

I'm one of the lucky ones to have adopted one of your bears. She greets me every time I go upstairs to my studio. She's always there with a ready smile and I can't help but smile right back! She's not only a beautifully made bear but she reminds me of your warm spirit every time I look at her. I absolutely love her.
You deserve to be told how wonderful your bears are....because they ARE wonderful.

Back Road BearsThe bears I've adopted from Shantell are slave drivers!!!! They sit on my sewing machine table and WATCH me..... if the phone rings they tell me to keep sewing, if I hear "You've got mail" they tell me to keep sewing, if I get up to get chocolate they say "Give me some!" :crackup:
Honestly though, I have to say that I love them to pieces and, not to put down Shantell's photo skills because I think she does a wonderful job, but her bears are even more adorable in person!!!!!!!

Apple Dumpling DesignsThanks Dilu, Aleta & Daphne...I really wasn't looking for more compliments just wanted to share how thoughtful this particular collector was and how it just makes ME want to do more and continue to grow.
Daphne, dear, I'm so sorry to hear the little dumplin's are such taskmasters...but I so understand!!! As far as the photography...new camera...top of the Christmas Wish List...but I suspect I'll have to buy it for myself.
