Apple Dumpling DesignsIt's so very quiet here this morning. What's everyone busy doing? I am baking Halloween sugar cookies, the kind with frosting on them. We are sending them to nieces & nephews in Arizona and giving some to my own three GROWN children. Then, I'm going to either paint pumpkins or carve them...haven't decided...maybe both.
And, start on a new bear...and trip over cats!!!

Swan Valley BearsWell, my daughter is here visiting from the SF Bay area with her boyfriend this weekend to celebrate my B'day. Last night we went to dinner with my parents and today we're going to the historic downtown districts of Grass Valley and Nevada City to browse through all the cute shops (while my hubby and Paige's boyfriend wait patiently for us on the sidewalk) then have lunch in one of the great downtown restaurants. What fun, huh? ! !
shhhhh....We are getting a new puppy today!!!! To antsy to sit for long on the computer, and forget trying to concentrate on a bear.....will post picutes tomorrow of our new little girl, and of course her big brother, who I might add is also pouting and looking for his sister whom we met yesterday!!!!

Wild Thyme OriginalsI had my Mom & Dad up for a little visit ... for coffee and cookies and grandchild hugs! So, we were making these delicious fudgy chocolate cookies this morning. Now that my parents have had their fill, I'm off to work on a bear!

I coloured "Harvest's" toes this morning, so I really should get his new pics and get him up for sale. But its a lazy, sleepy type day with a cool wind blowing and low clouds hanging. Had to bust ice on Blossom's water trough this morning...winter is certainly looming close...

Pumpkin & Pickle BearsMy family and I have been to a photography studio to have a few piccies taken today, then we went out for a meal afterwards......I'm just about to do a little bit of work on a bear in a moment.....It's 9:15pm here though!
Back Road BearsI've finished the last of my bears from Schaumburg and now have them spread out on the dining room table trying to figure out my display.
Also took picks of the last bear.... Sebastian.... I don't want to sell him!!!!

But I had fun with my friend that owns a local doll shop. This was the 3rd year I have done this show because it is by my house and my friend lets me use a small corner of her table.Along with all her dolls. I usually sell at least one soooooooooooooooooo thats how it goes .. but allot of people took my card because I was a local artist so maybe later 
In about an hour my oldest is coming for dinner with his wife so that will be nice to see him.I will rest later 
It is there birthdays and anniversary , 6 years yesterday.

Posts: 1,836Catching up on all of the things that fell behind while I was sick this week!!! UGH, I never want to experience that again....turns out it was a "girl thing" that decided to burst. I'm not a good patient for the E.R.......I ask questions and it always annoys them. Tooooooooo bad! I've had too many bad medical things happen not to ask questions I'm finally eating decent food as of yesterday..I was on liquids almost all week.....UGH YUCK!
ANYWHO...just listed a new bear on eBay..will probably take 6 hours to show up (but they won't compensate you the .75 for lost time...NAH no way :crackup: :twisted: :crackup:)
I might bake a Banana Bread with all the left over Bananas we have (I was eating those by Thursday afternoon ...that was a "solid" food for me!! good grief

Doodlebears Hugs Jane. 
My turn...My husband and I went out yesterday and I am still tired! So many people in the stores!! I just watered some of my plants ( it is hot here today!! ) and then, I took these pictures. I thought being Halloween soon ( my husband's birthday is on Halloween!! ) I had some fun with bears and Gollies. 
You can see, that little bear put on a ghost costume and did scare the poor little Gollies ( Kokoro says hello and send a kiss Dilu ) but, even if they were scared, Kokoro saw the bear's legs, coming out from under the costume!!. She thought...He is no ghost! I think I know who he is! Told her little friend to calm down and after he was fine, she sat down with all the candy!
Dilu I LOVE Kokoro! You can see she has a favorite friend already! His name is "Emanuel" and he came all the way from New Zealand!

I spent Sunday at my sister's home. I drove for two and a half hours in torrential rain (very hard work on the motorway!) and arrived with a boot full of bears, which we took into her studio for photographing. We had a great day discussing colours, angles and lighting, and running back and forth to check the results on her computer. It was good fun! In between shots, we devoured some delicious fahitas prepared for us by Tina's partner. When finally got home at ten o-clock last night, I was feeling very tired!
