Meet Ambre, the new baby bear I made for my Easter shows.
She is 32 cm tall.
She is made with a batik Hembold mohair (from Beary Cheap) in tones of pale yellow to orange.
She has cashmere like mini bear fabric for her pads and inner ears.
She is stuffed with polyester fibers excepted in the muzzle and feet which I filled with kapok.
She has heavy polyester plus steel beads in her tummy to give her a nice weight.
She has amber glass eyes.
I embroided her nose with pale orange twisted cotton and then waxed it generously.
I made her upper eyelids and claws with seed beads (orange for the eyelids and pale yellow+yellow+orange for the claws).
I added some shading with Marabu textile paints and pens.
I hope you like her!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
What a clever thing you have done with the beads for claws and eyelids! She's a pretty color too
Sophie she is so pretty I love what you've done with the beads!!!
Sophie, Ambre is very cute. Great idea with the beads.
Sophie, Ambre is really pretty! Very clever use of seed beads, too.
