Yep, tick tock as the clock ticks nearer to my next show on the 29th October!

This is 'Hickory' .. he is 20" in height and made from gorgeous Schulte tipped mohair.  He is 'brother bear' to 'Honeythunder', who I made as a one-off piece for my last show.  'Hickory' will be available in a small limited edition of five pieces.  He has my hand painted sparkly eyes and shaded paw pads.  I have waxed his nose and shaded his inset muzzle and eye sockets to create his soulful expression.  As with all my big bears, this guy has a traditional cardboard growler tucked among the pellets in his tummy.

Oh my i must not look  Paula you already know how i feel about your bears. Sadly i will not be coming to Ally Pally    but i wish you all the very best of luck and hope you all come back bearless   and with loads and loads of money

Thank you so much ladies!  I'm pleased you like my show bears.  Ellen, I couldn't help it, you made me chuckle ... but I'm sure I probably didn't ought to!  Husbands driving off dykes is not a laughing matter!!  I do hope both he and the car weren't too damaged?!!

oooo Paula he is just gorgeous, has such an appealing look to his face, I could cuddle him all day long     YIKES Ellen, I'm glad to hear that no one was hurt  (well except for the bank balance!!) with the car going in the dyke!!

He is absolutely wonderful.  Love the mohair and NICE nose.  My wax noses never looked that good.  I gave up on them.  He is gorgeous from head to toe!

Paula, I've been clobbered here and haven't been able to post separately for each of your new creations, but I've been watching them emerge from your studio with my jaw dropped.  You get such a great look to your bears; they're all unique, yet they're clearly ALL BEAR.  The  furs you use are gorgeous!
