Here's Elizabeth ..My little grand-daughter out on her broomstick last night with her daddy!!
Along with some very scary teddy heads awaiting bodies...not actually scary for anyone other than me...panicking that they won't have bodies by a week Sunday!! AAAAAGH!!
Your grand-daughter is adorable :).
And all these heads are gorgeous ! I would like one of your bears so much !
These are all bears..I have a rabbit and two cats to finish too..but we are at the 'all falling into line' stage!!!
The big one with the pinky nose is a a big fluffy cream bear..about 17" he has got a nice face!! I love synthetics..I have to force myself to use mohair!!
What a little cutie!
Ooh, those heads are gorgeous - even without the bodies!
Your grand-daughter IS the cutest little witch ever!!!
And I agree with the others alll those head are gorgeous. I'll just take a head don't worry about the rest!!!

My sentiments exactly Claire. Just put them on a stick with a ruffle and noone would know the difference.

Ahhh! Your grand-daughter looks lovely!!
I LOVE those heads!! Even without bodies they already look great!!!
Jenny, Elizabeth is just the sweetest little witch I've ever seen!!! As far as those creepy heads, you can send me one....I wouldn't mind a bodyless bear from you.
Someday I will have a 3'oclock bear...even if I have to mortgage the farm.
Many thanks for your pictures. Your granddaughter is very sweet. How old she is?
But the heads from the bears  .... oh, oh Jenny.... Helloween is over... now you must finish all bears please. All of them are so beautiful, nice, sweet..... you must finish all bears
I love your bears, Jenny.
Jenny......your little grandaughter is gorgeous.......what a lucky girl to have such a clever
grandmother!!!
Those heads.....such beautiful faces.....Ooh....just bundle them up and send them to me....who
needs bodies!!!!!!
Please do post a photo of them altogether when you have finished them !!!!
Hugs,
Yvonne.
oh Jenny, she is just the cutest little witch that I have ever seen....
If only to have progress like those heads in my studio!!!!I know you will have them done in no time...I hear you though about having to force yourself to use mohair, I find myself in the same dilema at times
Hugs,
Krista
The funny thing is my daughter had bought some chocolate eye-balls..and Elizabeth was putting them up to her own eyes..If you look closely you can see chocolate all round her eyes and in her eyebrows!!
Elizabeth is 18 months old now and talking quite well and she loves teddies!!!!She's certainly the apple of my eye....along with my other little grand-daughter, Rosie who couldn't make it for halloween .. her broomstick had to be home before it got dark!!
It's first her birthday soon so it will be party time again!!
Someone slap me....but seeing the darling pictures of your grandbabies from time to time just makes me yearn for grandbabies of my own.
Very cute wee one, Jenny, and such a proud papa. The little pile of string-y heads is super cute too! I envy your ability to work in that way. I need to make one at a time to avoid going insane, too, just like Ellen!
I work that way when I have a major fair coming up. I don't usually have so many like that but needs must this time!! I don't work on one at a time because I just feel better when I have a few on the go. I am quite organised in the way I work these days..today I have sewn all the openings on the limbs and tonight I will do any armatures that I need to do. Tomorrow I will joint them all and stuff the bodies ..and Friday night/ Saturday will be ears and backs being sewn up!!
Krista..I am glad someone agrees. I like mohair but I loveworking with synthetic!! I just love the way it sculpts and shading is so much easier . I like the finish I get too...don't get me wrong I do like mohair..but I love the look and feel of faux fur much more!!
Jenny,
Elizabeth is adorable! I love seeing the wee ones all dressed up on hallowe'en. Our grandson was a fireman and he is 2 1/2 - last year he really wasn't that interested but this year he had the whole thing down pat and NOBODY got near his candy LOL! Being a grandparent is the best, isn't it!
hugs,
Brenda
SOOOOOO cute..and the broomstick is cool...she´s even better than Harry Potter!
Oh jenny your grand daughter is so cute......waiting to be a gandmum one day.(yeh right) my daughter lives and works over in England and says she is having a fab time so me thinks babies are the last thing on her mind.lol
I just adore your bears there faces have the cutest expressions on them.....and yep have done a few mohair kids but do like the softness of the synthetic's ...when friends have babies I always make a little bear for them as its a personal thing and out of synthetic is cuddly for them....
you can always make your heads in to chrissie decorations hang of the tree..........nahh only joking..........

tOO cuTE , THE HEADS TOO!!
Shantell,
I'm with you. Pictures of Jenny's granddaughter always give me the Nana bug. (sigh) Someday we'll be blessed with pretty little pink lovelies too.
Jenny,
Your granddaughter is THE sweetest little witch. Heck, she's just the sweetest little thing ever! I just want to reach through the screen an hug her!!
About those bear heads.....perhaps I should try making bears that way. I've always put the whole bear together and THEN finished the face. It never hurts to try something new! That's a very, kind of scary, picture of them though.
Warmest bear hugs,
