Apple Dumpling DesignsI don't know about you...but the pasture is flooding...the little creek is over flowing and the water is almost to the edge of the little bridge you cross coming to my house. I'd say it's a tad wet out there today.
I'm dreading my drive to Portland tomorrow. I have an eye appointment and my doctor's office move to the WATERFRONT so I have no idea where I'm going...yes I have directions but it's still going to be raining...ICKY!!!!

It's just awful, Shantell!! 
I've never seen it rain this hard.....for so long! I live high on a hill so we're getting hit with the rain and the wind. I don't like the wind. 
No risk of flooding up here. However, in the valley below us they're pumping water out of their basements. How awful.
We've had to put a pump in the pool to drain water out. I've had to turn it on twice already today. The frogs are enjoying it though. All this rain has diluted the chemicals so the frogs are frolicking in their new pond. It's all good though. I like the little buggers.....especially the lime green one's!
I hear sirens in the distance. It's raining so hard there are accidents everwhere. People just drive too fast for the road conditions!
Rain, rain, go away. I hope all your kitties are warm and dry!

Apple Dumpling DesignsIt's a mess in Washington and Oregon. I was JUST reading in my local paper (it's an evening edition) that we broke a record of 3.5 inches of rain in 24 hours. The previous record was 2.36 inches set in 1906.
In Gleneden Beach (pronounce Glen Eden) they are trying to save a house that the ocean is washing away the embankment. They are trucking in huge loads of gravel and using backhoes, etc. As of a couple hours ago...the ocean was winning. It's a beautiful new home and their insurance will not pay for it of course...consider "act of God." Sad....
Kitties are fine...safe and dry, fat and sassy sleeping on the porch.

DoodlebearsIsn't it strange how the weather is changing and not for the better. We should work hard to save the world. It's us who are damaging it so we should put it right.
Yesterday I saw buttercup flowers in my front garden...for those who don't know this is a plant that flowers in the spring and summer, and not a plant that flowers in November...what have we done! The worlds weather has gone bonkers.
I hope it drys up for you all who have so much rain and rains for you who have none.
