I've done a lot of photo jewelry and xmas ornaments with old photos and I love it.  The small ornaments can be hung in a grouping on the wall the rest of the year.  It's nice to do special things with old photos so family members are not forgotten.

Also, Daphne, what I do is always have a small photo album of my bears because often times when I get chatting with someone and I mention I make bears it is so much easier to show them than to try and describe my work.  Like it is said....a picture is worth a thousand words!

I can't believe Christmas is almost here.  My dog needs more surgery and I am just drained.  I have so many obligations with bears and projects I can't even get a bear on ebay.
I am taking my three children to see Trans Siberian Orchestra next weekend and I can;t wait... I need to spend more time with my kids.

John Denver and the Muppets "A Christmas Together" is in the CD player and I've been working on my holiday bear!

I adore that CD!!!   bear_wub  Have also been playing the daylights out of Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer, and some off version of holiday songs by a symphony from Chicago I think...  sometimes its nice to just have the music with no singing going on...

Good for you for steering that woman clear of that awful icky stuffs!!!  I'm sure she'll have loads of fun with new bear patterns and even better fabrics to play with  bear_wub

I've had the sense to steer clear of my local craft stores, but I don't know how long I can resist  bear_happy   I"m trying to be 'good' and use up the Christmassy stuff I have hoarded from last year.  But I think I'll be decking my tree soon ~ I don't care if its 'too early', I LOVE Christmas and the last couple of years we haven't even had a tree up.  So I've lots to catch up on!  bear_thumb
