I know, I know, we aren't even through Thanksgiving yet but you can't tell me you haven't given any thought to what you want Santa to bring you this Christmas!n030.gif

So what'll it be???

Jewels? Perfume? Shoes? Sewing Machine? A housekeeper? Nanny?

Captain Jack Sparrow would be nice!!

Stu is buying me a bear that was in the Ho Ho Oh BearZ show....we've paid a deposit and will pay the remainder at the end of the week (after pay day!)....so I'm going to be a very happy girl on Christmas morning.

Other than that there's not really anything else I want or need...Christmas is more about my 2 sons for me - as long as they have a great day then so do I!

I WILL be looking forward to my mum's Christmas dinner though!  :teddybear:

Just adding these photos of the bear I'll be getting for Christmas.....she's by Angie Tait......

I look to Christmas to fulfill all my covetous, greedy dreams that fall by the wayside for the rest of the year while I take care of everyone ELSE's needs.  No martyrdom for me at Christmas time!  Here's my list in broad strokes; my family has all the pertinent specifics!:

-- Glass beadmaking tools (shapers, books, how-to DVD, etc.  I still totally suck at this artform.  Glass turds galore.)

-- Silver jewelry from Silpada --->  an Avon/Tupperware/Pampered Chef type of organization, with product sold ONLY by independent reps.  They have really pretty, high-end silver and gemstone jewelry. If you're interested in viewing the online catalog go to  www.mysilpada.com/becki.mathiesen .  I can hook you up with my friend and Silpada rep, Becky, whose rep account you'll be viewing, if you want to order.  Here's a page from their catalog; YES, I'm trying to drum up business for Becky.  She's a single mom of three who works in the elementary school main office and every bit helps her out, especially at Christmas time.

We already bought our Christmas gifts.  Plane tickets to Nashville for me, hubby and daughter, Paige.  We're going to see daughter, Tracy and her hubby in January.

Yeaaaaaaaa ! ! ! !

Nothing...really nothing.  I can't think of anything I need or want....My honey has been so good to me this year, and I have received so many wonderful surprises from some really wonderful angels that God is loaning the earth, that I am pretty content.

My goal next year, is to pass on the blessings I have recieved this year to others who might be in need.

so, my fingers are crossed and I'm holding my breath, in anticipation that you all get your hearts desire!

Good question!

Guess I'd better start thinking. I asked family for ebay gift certificates. That way I can get mohair or a bear!

I want some good non stick cookware and a nice grill.
Oh, and a pony, a million dollars........LOL

Hubby has bought me a wonderful magnifying daylight lamp. It has four interchangeble lenes.  I had one that was ok but it had an ordinary globe which tended to get very hot if it had been on some time.. I have also asked for books and CDs but I will be happy with whatever I get.

What I want for Christmas? I really don't need anything. I just like spending the holidays with my family...I love the decorations, I love the wonderful holiday shows on Home and Garden and Food Network....

Me & hubby are buying a new SLR digital camera for xmas  bear_grin  He can play with it and I can use it for my bears and dolls! That will be cool, the one we are looking at is about double the pixel rate of our old one.  bear_original so it should take really good pictures.

Best Christmas present I could have would be for our house purchase to go through without any more hitches.  My partner and I have been trying to sell our respective houses and buy a house together for over six months and it's been a nightmare from start to ... still not quite finished!  We've actually been looking for a new house for two years.  We now have one house sold and the new house purchase going through ... if it ties up and we have to move on Christmas Eve, or even Christmas Day for that matter, we'll do it!!

I would love it for my whole family to get together on the same day and to have a great time. That would be the best gift for me.

George Clooney dressed as Santa - George Clooney dressed as a Christmas Elf - George Clooney dressed as anything actually - George Clooney not dressed at all..........i am keeping my options open on this one. I just want it so bad.
bear_tongue  bear_grin  bear_laugh
I know i am getting a cat by Karen Lyons from EL Tel as my Christmas present this year, he refuses to buy me George Clooney for some reason - old Spoilsport ain't he?

Penny  bear_tongue

P.S.
I just had an excellent idea for a GC option. How about George Clooney dressed in a suit made of best belgian chocolate? I could put him on one of those spit things that they have in kebab shops in front of my fire and slowly rotate him until all the chocolate melts. Maybe i could get some girlfriends round and have a Fondue George Night?
It would ruin the carpet but i could live with that.

I'd like time. Time to scrapbook, time to knit, time to play games with my family, time to finish the "fall" garden clean up, time to go watch the 10 movies on my list, time to soak in the tub, time to go walking with friends, time to drink wine, time for baking and shopping and Christmas gift wrapping.

Failing that, a teeny tiny diamond stud for my never-used double-pierced ear would be nice.

I'd like a Dull Moment! A moment (well, a whole DAY would be nice!) when I don't have to do a single thing.... when there is nothing that I need to do to get caught up. When there is nothing in the immediate future that I need to prepare for. When there are no doctor's appointments, groceries to be gotten, laundry to be done, calls to be made, even dogs to take on walks! I just want to curl up on the couch with a good book, tea and crumpets, a fire in the fireplace and my favorite flannel quilt. No TV, no phone, no computer. No husband. Just me, myself and I! Boy, did that sound selfish or what!?!

I'd be happy with a new pair of sheepskin slippers and a new toaster oven. bear_original

Aww, c'mon Daff, don't set your sights so low love...............maybe a teeny weeny Porche with a white leather interior? A swimming pool with a hunky life-guard thrown in (well, not thrown in literally obviously, he could drown then you would have to jump in save him)?

Oh well, what I'd REALLY like is a farmhouse with a wrap around porch, all kinds of nooks and built-ins and wide plank floors, a big old red barn with some sheep, a carriage house at the far end of the property that's converted into a cottage for my parents to live in and the caretaker to be Mel Gibson!

I really don't need anything, but I did see a pair of Tony Lama boots that I would like to have.  Now if we are dreaming big, there is 125 acres of land across from me that I would like.

PS: guess I need to tell you: I´m such a chickin!
I´m quite happy with what I´ve got, and I´m ready for any surprises :)
