NOW THAT'S MORE LIKE IT GIRL
I can just imagine you and the family living it up in a place like that - where would Mel sleep?![]()
Penny
Oh, I'd be sure that Mel was very comfortable!
I got to thinking though... I'll need a cook too! I wonder if Hugh Grant is any good in the kitchen!
I'd really like to get another dog or maybe a kitten, but the hubby isn't as convinced as I am that we need another pet. But, hey, you never know.

Kathleen - Take him to a pet store or a rescue... let him look into those sad eyes and then see what he thinks! Always works on my hubby! Last time I did that there were 3 dalmations that were given up due to a divorce. They were very well behaved, middle aged and scared but took to my husband almost immediately. There was no way I was having 3 big dogs and he did agree but he talked about them everyday for a week after that and still mentions them, a year later. It broke his heart to see them in that little kennel together.
Jeesh.... I'd adopt all the homeless dogs for Christmas if I could!!!

me too, I think I get more upset about animals than I do people. I'd love to fill my house with the pitter patter of little doggie paws!!!!

I would like a Jane Perala and a Michelle Lamb teddy bear. Most of all I would like for my daughter to have a healthy baby. She has had 3 miscarriages and 1 chemical pregnancy. She is now 7 weeks pregnant so we are hopeful that this pregnancy will be successful. She is 39 at Xmas and they have no children as yet as they were not married until 2 years ago. So far this is the best pregnancy and she did it with the help of accupunture and traditional chinese medicine. Rather ironic given that modern technology didn't seem to help
Hope all of you have wonderful holiday season and a happy and healthy 2007
Hugs

They ARE fun to unwrap, aren't they... ?
Penny, I'm buying my ticket to join you for the Goerge Clooney fondue night
I really would love some jewlery from TOUS! I got some for my birthday but i'd love some more. Its a jewlery company from Spain with a few boutiques around the world and their main design line is a teddy bear!!!!!!! They have rings, watches, handbags, you name it...you guys have got to check it out!
C'mon a little diamond wouldn't kill old St. Nick would it??????
AndreaM
These ones are on my list (and as I ordered them too early, they are on my shelf as it was waaaay too difficult not to open the parcel  ).
I really love silly cute bears :).
The only other thing on my list is that Yann finishes his thesis in December (so that he does have holydays for Christmas).
I would like a puppy too, and maybe a baby (a girl if possible ;)), but it wouldn't be reasonable for the moment...
Hugs friends !
PS : Penny, please never think of my man covered with chocolate like you do for George Clooney, please, please, please .

My dear Marion...............i simply adore your beautiful Yann but only in the motherly type of 'Is'nt he lovely' way - he is far too dignified a young man for me to ever imagine him covered in chocolate. He's way toooo young for me darling - i like them a bit worn, which is just as well as that's all i am ever likely to get at my age.

Oh my...would you let him call you 'sugart!ts'??
I am doing pretty good this year. I want a house like Daphne's dreamhouse but
with some goats & a mini donkey & a horse instead of sheep Now Andy's
got a new job though - in the town we want to move to, even - so there is a better
chance of this happening, once we pay stuff off first, anyhow.
Him getting that job was a BIG hunk of wish fulfillment!
So I can't complain - everything is looking up. I'd not mind a respite from the sinus
headaches I've had since getting a wisdom tooth pulled, though. What's with that?
I would like a 1" pinback button maker - I could make some cool teensy little
buttons. & some Mango Mandarin body splash from Bath & Body Works - it smells so good!
Andy wants way more stuff than I do - he's learning to build banjos, mandolins etc & that takes
a bunch of specialized hand tools that you can't just get from Home Depot. So holiday gifts are
permission to get fretwire pliers or something
Most, I wish for health, so that I can be more, use to my friends and family. Hubby's getting me the bear making book, I asked for. All my presents this year are bear related..lol
........ but I would prefer Colin Firth vacuum cleaning my house singing ''I want to break free'', now that would definitely make my day....
Ellen
I'd prefer 'Severus Snape' ohhh Alan Rickman............he can just talk, read to me, oh that voice!!! He could read the yellow pages, it wouldn't matter, I'd still give him a standing ovation..lol
Hello all ,
I am new to your group , and not yet a bear maker , so I
will take anyone of these men if they can teach me how to make a
bear  I can tell I am going to be seriously addicted to the
art of bear making , I just can't wait to get started .
Robin
Hi Robin and welcome to Teddy Talk!
Oh yes, I have to warn you - bearmaking is VERY addictive!
Hi Robin!
Welcome!!!
I'll be sure to invite a couple of these guys to our bear making session!
Do you think we'd actually get a bear made though????
Thanks , Gemma & Daphne for the welcome !
It is unlikely we would get anything done with
these guy's unpacking boxes for you
while you are teaching me to make a bear
Robin
Well, I'd let Captain Jack Sparrow do more than hoover.........and no i wouldn't make him do more housework - there'd be more important things to deal with....
Oh yes... the Captain could live at my house as well and I wouldn't make him do hardly anything at all - I'd just want to gloat over having him!
Marion
Oh this thread has taken a twisted turn .... hasn't this happened before??? And all because of Daphne's simple little question ....

Toby
Yes, it was a very innocent question... one that I'd hoped we could all perhaps gain ideas from. And being a Topic Highlight on the Index page.... wouldn't it be nice to make it a topic everyone would feel comfortable reading/posting to?
I know, I'm a party poop. How did a request for your Christmas list result in nude pictures of George? I did have fun with my little dream about my farmhouse and Mel as the care taker but we have a tendancy to get carried away here!
If we can't have a bit of fun here on TT amongst friends, then where can we have fun?
Hi girls, here is a little christmas angel for you all .
Well I would be happy with any of these guys in my christmas stocking and chocolate yum yum.
I have only one wish for Christmas - but it should come a bit earlier - to sell at least one bear so that I have the cash to go to Germany to sell some more...thanks to my "lawyer adventure" I´m prettymuch broke and since I can´t sell on neither ebay nor bearpile, it makes my situation a lot harder. but I keep believing I will - other than that - what else can I ask for? I have so many wonderful friends, my won pad and two cool dogs...I mean, I have everything one could ask for:-)
