I have added one to my site if anyone would like to go sign it (and i guess to see if it works too ha ha) but i also wondered if you liked them or not.
I know that many of you have them on your own websites - do you ever get rude messages left? Do you think that visitors like to be able to comment on your bears or are they just a waste of time (the guestbooks not the visitors)?
If you should want to sign my guestbook that would be great and if there are any problems with it could you let me know? - i guess i would have to start all over again!

Back Road BearsI took mine off as the rude posts by totaly unknown people and the folks promoting their own non-bear (non-anything anyone in their right mind would be interessted in) websites got to be annoying and I was spending too much time editing my guest book. Who has time for THAT!
Now, if G.C. signed my guest book that would be different!

I used to have a guest book, but did have the option to read all posts before they showed on my site. I was getting so much junk posted every day & I got so tired of having to delete so many every day that I got rid of it...but maybe I should put a guest book back on my site soon...because I have been getting a lot more visitors & maybe G.C. would even post in my guest book :dance: :pray: :hug: :crackup:

Bears by JodiI have a guest book but I haven't had problems as of yet so we will see.I guess there may be a stinker or two out there that may do something I don't like but as of now I look ok . If any one wants to sign mine please do.
I had a guest book ..which was one of these free ones...which broke down and when I wrote the the company they didn't want to know.
So now I have one which we pay for. I does allow me to screen and delete any dodgy looking posts. I have some lovely posts but all my first ones from when I started out have been deleted when we had the stupid glitch that happened with the old guest-book. So if anyone feels they want to sign my new guest-book I'd really love it!! Hint, hint...LOL
I had one clever person leave two entire pages of advertising for their web-site (yes it was for bears..not an artist...but a beary site nevertheless ) which really annoyed me. I also had someone leave a thinly veiled 'jibe'..but apart from that no bad stuff...just nice comments from lovely people really.
Unless you can control it though, it is a risky business..I thoroughly recommend you vet the messages first..or you may find something nasty sitting on there for days without you seeing it.
I had a lovely Bravenet guestbook ... for a long time people just left really nice comments but then the viagra ads, [INVALID] site recommendations etc started arriving and wouldn't stop ... I got tired of them messing up my nice book so deleted the whole thing. 
Paula ..I think mine was a Bravenet one...but one day we just couldn't open it ...it just kind of 'froze'...so I was sad when it had to be deleted.
I never had any [INVALID] left on there. Isn't bad when people have to do this kind of thing? I did notice before I had my new one that some people would leave a message which was really just a link to their website..which if they'd wanted one they should have asked to be put on my links page.
