RosePetalhead.jpgRosePetal2.jpgI haven't been able to pop in here much of late, so I'm feeling all behind!  Just to show I've had my nose to the grindstone, I thought I'd share 'Rose Petal' with you ... she's a special commission for a customer.  After months of 'boys only', I've gone all girly lately!  'Rose Petal' is a substantial 20" and made from wonderful Schulte kid mohair in pretty lollipop pink.  bear_original

tee hee I'm with Matilda on this one.

Rose Petal is beautiful - so pretty and soft and girly and just the teensiest bit sad looking.  I'm sure her new owner will be giving her loads of hugs to cheer her up!

How lovely to hear from you all!  Thanks everyone!!  It's good to know that the girly bears have their place.  I've got a real soft spot for pink bears and this pink is so pretty!

Melissa, I have to thank you for an email I received from Trudy in Oz, she has some of your lovely bears and says you mentioned my work to her ... thank you so much!! :rose:

bear_wub Just love the new bear Paula! Wonderful colour too. I have always admired your work right from when I started out on that addictive road of teddy bears. Another one who gets buried alive under mohair, don't we all

What a lovely lot of messages!  It's so nice to read them - thank you!

The paw pads were a devil ... I thought I could get away with using some pearlescent calligraphy ink in my airbrush but what a headache that caused me!!  It didn't look any thicker than my usual inks and paints, but it still jammed things up a treat.  I got there in the end ... but not before I'd cursed a great deal!!
