here is a picture of Naji (“in safe hands” in Arabian), who has arrived at the safe haven of Animals Asia. He was located with an old couple who wanted to make money out of exhibiting him. When the plan proved to be a financial flop, Naji was destined for a miserable life on a bear farm. Jill Robinson heard of his case and negotiated for his release and fortunately could buy him over. Good to know that at least this one little fellow will be having a fabulous Christmas.

p.s. see Naji- long muzzle, mmm could be interesting using Naji for a "real teddy bear"
That is wonderful news, thanks for sharing!
Naji is beautiful and how wonderful that he has been rescued and will now be safe and looked after.
How great that there are angels like Jill Robinson who have set up the China Bear rescue.
Thanks for sharing, Lynette.

I will let you in a little secret, Naji was able to be free because of the wonderful people that have bought fur etc from Beary Cheap Australia. We all donated the money so we could sponser our own bear.
Isn't he gorgous. I made a Naji and gave it to my sister for her birthday.
We are now trying to raise the funds for his den....
Yep and now Beary Cheap is trying to raise the money for his den. Anyone want to help?
i love the idea that BC has...and isn't little Naji adorable. I don't know, but I feel almost too much about these bears, and all animals that are hurt...I just wish it didn't happen
Lynette: such good news this little guy will have a happier life. Thank goodness there are people out there to take care of the abuse animals. And a big bear hugs to the folks at Beary Cheap for sponsoring him.
ahhh, so some more of us helping these lovely big burly creatures.
I was told that my two bears donated for the auction
quote "Emma and Tooley have been auctioned off for handsome prices, which will go into funds for rescuing Moon Bears" made me feel good.
I was sent the 2007 calendar picturing a bear for each month, and reading the story behind each bear, had me sitting in tears, but how nice to know that today they are living a good life.
For me, being able to contribute someting small to this foundation via my own bear making, makes me feel good,
Lynette
I'm so glad!
