naya4.JPGWell after a lot of sneaking around sewing in all corners of the house and regularly getting sprung by one of the two girls  bear_shocked ..I finished their bears I was making them for Christmas ..I sewed the last seam closed at 10.00pm Christmas Eve!!!

They are made from Alpaca which I hated (am I the only one?) softly stuffed and more loosely jonted than what I am used to...(boy that was hard to get right!!) and I am sort of happy with them (if you know what I mean  bear_ermm  )...but the girls love them which is all that matters. bear_grin

Tonaya's bear (the bigger one) is called Pinkbell and the smaller one (Talita's bear) is called Bubbly.

They are gorgeous Sarahjane well done, we want to see a photo with their new admirers please.

Yes I had a similar experience with some alpaca the material backing was very loose and it frayed a lot.  bear_sad

Pretty bears in pink, Sarah Jane and I know your daughters would be thrilled to bits!

Alpaca is so beautiful and soft though - I like it.

I agree the backing would be a great idea, the finish product and softness is fantastic, makes it all worth the effort.
