Hi everybody,
I would like to introduce you to Tanner. Tanner is a one-of-a-kind crocheted bear with lots of mischief. I needle felted the area around his eyes to give him a special character look.
Tanner is 15" (38cm) tall and lives with his new mommy.
Hugs,
Marion
Tanner is very cute with his train and stripey scarf.

Look at that gorgeous pile of fluff. I can't crochet at all so to do something like this just floors me.
Marion: Tanner is adorable. I love the train....The face is as cute as can be.
aww he's lovely!
Marion is lovely, if you hadn't told us he was crocheted I would never have guessed it.
Hugs,
Marion,

That is amazing. I can crochet but not after any pattern. I have tried to follow the patterns for a bear but can not get my head around it. He is adorable.

Thank you for all your kind comments on Tanner.
Lena, I never use a pattern for my bears. I pick some threads which I can see working nicely into an interesting "fur" and start crocheting. All I have and use is a crochet hook and the threads I work with.
Each of my bears is truly a one-of-a-kind piece. I don't count stitches, don't write down any measurements and will never be able to exactly duplicate a bear. I "sculpt" with crochet hook and thread and give my bears the shape or curved legs by adjusting the stitches, either adding or deducting.
I know it is a bit hard to understand how all this works, but I love creating bears this way.
Hugs and a happy new year to all of you,
Marion Fraile
