How do you sculpt your eye sockets.  I scuplt pulling the thread behind the opposite ear.

I see eye sockets which are beautifully scultped and mine aren't so nice or so deep. 

What are your secrets???

hey stranger! Long time no talk!!

Jane, I use that artificial sinue and I go from the eyes to the bottom of the head, where the joint would be. You can also go from eye to eye if you want to create a bridge at the nose.

I do from side to side- one socket to the other and build the bridge up... that is what has worked the best for me

I use artificial sinew and go first from eye to eye, pulling tighter each time, then from eye to the lower point of the mouth (the inverted Y) then pull tight, go back to the eye, then go to the other eye and down to the lower mouth on that side, back up to the eye, pull tight, then down to the joint area to hide the ends.

Heather,  Where did you get the artificial sinew from?  My next med appt is May 2nd!  A few months away but if I'm there earlier I will let you know.  We will have to reconnect our e-mail sending!

Jane: I do what Heather does with sculpting the eye socket which is eye to back of the head and back to the eye. But if you want that bulge in the nose or a rabbit look, go eye to eye.

I would like make one more suggestion. So you can have that socket, make sure you don't stuff the eye area to hard or you may not get the depth you want for the socket.

I go in a rough circle back wards and forwards to the neck joint area on each eye..and sometimes across the bridge of the nose. I use 2mm yacht whipping twine...very strong and pulls through easily...and doesn't cut into your skin when pulled tight!!!

You can get the sinew from Stephanie. She has several colors actually, white, beige and black.

Jane, I get my sinue from walmart. Micheals also carries it. It's in the section ( craft section if you're in walmart ) where you can make the native crafts, like dreamcatchers etc. It's real cheap and awesome.
