Thank you Paula, for starting this wonderful thread.
I have enjoyed looking at all the wonderful Bears and creations from all the very talented artists.

My own favourites for 2006 were

Bailey and Golly who I made for a family member and

Miss Emmanuelle was intended to go on my website but at the moment she is happy to be
living at my home for a while.

Oh my....These are really the best of the best! I wish I could have them all living at my house! It is so hard to pick out a favorite. Kinda like picking out a favorite child. Impossible! Usually my favorite is the one I finished last.
But here goes.

Hello all,
I have been lurking a lot and want to get more involved this year. My two top favourites from 2006 are the following. First is the Teddy Hug. It features a pale pink traditional bear, hugging her brown crochet teddy who is also hugging his tiny white teddy. It is a play on the word hug which means a group of bears and also hugging is what bears are for, right?

The second one is Captain Cruise who was created as a donation for the Children's Aid Teddy Bear Gala in November in Toronto. He is also featured in the 2007 calendar.

Two favourites - HMMMMM.....a compromise - group of three???
I made these "the Sisters Bling" for a competition entry, category "bear(s) with accessories" and decided to take it literally...and had enormous fun with the "accessories"!

Thank you Paula for starting this thread. I must say I have seen the most wonderful little creations ...almost like going to a teddy bear artist show from the comfort of my own home while lounging in my pj's.

All I can say is "WOW" ....!!!
