I know this is a teddy bear site. But I know some of you branch out and make dolls in addition to your bears. I am thinking of getting my mom a doll for her 75th birthday next month, she collects all kinds of dolls. I would love to see what you have as I would much rather get something from an artist. I know they are all going to lovely, but some I just won't be able to afford. I would love to see what y'all have for sale or auction!

She does not login that often so she may not found your request.
I do personally love her dolls but I have no idea what kind of dolls your are after.

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

Hiya!
My Mum makes beautiful miniature porcelain dolls, which I think are very reasonably priced, particularly for the amount of work that goes into them.  Have a little look at her website: www.marymyrtleminiaturedolls.co.uk
(although I don't think it is entirely up to date, but will give you an idea of what she makes.)
Here is a taster:

I hope you manage to find something nice for your Mum!

Ohhhhh  Samantha your moms dolls are beautiful.  I'm not one for dolls but I do appreciate the workmaship and artistry that goes into them.  Her prices are very good, I would think they should be a bit higher.

Now with the above said I do like the quirky and different dolls (I don't own any yet) but Shelli  the picture of your doll is right up my alley, I love that kind of look something that is different and outside the box (kinda like me  bear_grin ).  I can't wait to see more of yours Shelli and maybe even get the chance to have one of my very own.

We did go to a doll show a few yrs ago and I was so amazed by the workmanship that the artist put into their dolls, we were contemplating buying this quirky fairy doll from an artist but then decided we wouldn't.  As we walked away the darn thing jumped off the table onto the floor (I kid you not, it was really spooky) hindsight is we should have bought the doll as it appeared it really wanted to come home with us  .

big hugs

Shane

Hi! Garnet and I have a second little company called Beesley's Little Peanut Factory TM. We do reborn dolls. So far we have not had the time to market our dolls and we hope to do that later this year. We have been so busy with bears.

This is SOPHIA LYNN   0a1aaa000aaa000aab34a.jpg

The pics are not great once we upload them but she is completely hand painted with a peaches and cream complextion and has hand rooted eye lashes and hair. She is 5 lbs and floppy and soft like a real baby.

Hugs Louise

Well, i make dolls but i guess your Mom would have a fit if you bought her one of mine as they are a bit flakey and odd. But here's a couple of pics anyway. Dear Old Erasmus he's such a hunk and now residing with our very own Kim in the US of A.

Wow, what great creations everyone! Louise, Sophia Lynn looks real.  I am always so impressed with everyone's talent no matter what the subject.

In the past I have made some funny little dolls out of gourds and paperclay. Sadly, I don't have them anymore and I can't find any pictures. I think I must have lost them when my computer crashed last year.  bear_angry Oh well, they were silly little things anyway.
