Hi,

I am working on a Bear with an open Mouth and would love to try out giving him Teeth, the more realistic ones,
does anybody know where I can get them? They should fit a smaller Bear

Hi Rita...I think some of the taxidermy supplies places sell upper and lower jaw sets...plastic ones I guess ..of small animals which I read somehwere that artists use.

I've never done teeth before so I'm not 100% sure..

www.leatherfactory.com     I know that you can get claws from here. They must also sell

teeth. But I can't recall.    I use all of these.  Hope this helps. (Its the result of 100's hr on the net):lol:

For taxidermy ...I think I remember to get the Racoon jaw set ( with teeth ) it is the smallest available for a full set of teeth.
For single teeth I make my own using poly home baked clay, use a mix of half white and half translucent ...make a little hole at the bottom of the tooth, so if you are facing the bear the hole goes from right to left ...this is so you can sew it in his mouth. The hole will shrink when baking so make it big enough to get a needle and thread thru..... I recommend Van Dykes. I haven't bought their teeth, but I do use their eyes.
