Hi
the subject line says it all. Maybe it's a silly question, but I'm new here and I was just wondering! And yes, I say "y'all". I'm a little southern gal from Tennessee who just happens to be living in Kansas for the next few months.  bear_original

Hi Eliza,
Occasionally, someone in the group organizes a swap, for those who want to participate.  Lots of artists do.  Some of us aren't able, as the money we make is used for the household bills etc.  There is no definite yes or no, I guess.  Welcome to the group!

                               hugs,

                               Brenda

Another thing that we do is some of us do private swaps....where you contact the artist you want to swap with, and ask if they want to swap with you...you hash out the details....accept a NO if the other artist can't, and hold no hard feelings...and have fun creating something for the other artist that you have chosen to swap with or that has chosen to swap with you!!!  I have done a couple and they are great fun!!!

I've done swaps---two from artists here on Teddy Talk, one was Kim-Bee and one was Gina of Orange Blossom Bears---I treasure their bears because firstly, one actually really has a connection with the artist and firstly again, the bears are AWESOME!!

I love swapping!  =)

Swaps are definitely my favourite!
What I love so much in swaps is that I know the person to whom I make the bear so it helps me puting all my art and all my heart in that very special bear.
I have already two private swaps waiting: I said my partners to wait until mid april because I am in the middle of preparing a show.
And i will contact more people for private swaps in the future...

I think that if you get to know better quite a few people you can have an idea about how much they love your bears and can then ask them for a swap.

Beary hugs,
Sophie.
