For 15 years Buck, a 1m-high stuffed toy bear, was a regular around the airport runway.

Overnight security staff kept Buck on the move. He sometimes appeared
sitting in a cane chair, occasionally he was on a bicycle and during
the football season he was often decked out in a Crows jumper.
Buck was so well-known pilots would point him out to passengers as aircrafts came into land.
But,faced with the ravages of weather and a murder of local crows, he fell apart and disappeared.
Now airport operations manager John McArdle says,after a long period of convalescence and major work,Buck has returned to duty.
