This is probably a silly question, but:

For people who put dresses (or skirts - anything you can lift up    ) on their bears,  do you make little undies for the teddies?  I haven't seen any discussion about it.  I think doll makers tend to add undies.

I have a fancy dress that has bloomers with it. My cheerleader outfits have panties with it, other than that..... bear is bare!

Mostly I don't but sometimes a bear needs undies....I think it just depends on the outfit...

My dressed girls go commando. I figure, if Donald Duck can go pantsless, so can my critters 

Sometimes guys just need a certain garment....the bear will let you know!

Mine just never happen to be in as much of a hurry as I am.....they choose what 'finishes' them
at their own pace, sometimes they gotta be sitting on the shelf for a week before it comes clear.
The best I can do is make more of them to have around at a given time in hopes that at least
one of them will be easy to figure out!

I haven't made panties but I am getting ready to make a swimsuit. Not sure how I am going to do it yet.

I was going to knit a dress for a new bear I'm working on ... hadn't thought it through until I read your thread, now that I have, she must of course have panties to spare her blushes!!  :redface:

I make mostly girl bears, and I guess they must be all "bearly sluts", as none of them have undies.    :crackup: 
(My apologies to anyone out there who doesn't wear undies).

Jane, that is too funny  :crackup:   Maybe because bears are naturally without clothes in the wild, it seems natural for them to be "au naturel" under a dress.  For people, it seems a little more surprising if someone's dress flys up and there are no undies underneath as we are used to seeing people clothed
(at least somewhat, anyway )

All my girl bears when dressed have panties, it never came to me not to give them panties. I suppose it's all or nothing for me.
