Retirement.JPGI just finished this bear for a friend who is retiring. I haven't given it to her yet as she is out of town but I think she will be surprised and pleased.
The bear is made from a very soft off white fabric and is about 4 1/2" tall - (kind of hard to measure with the curved shaping!), and is fully jointed, has face shading and a waxed nose. He is surrounded by stacks of books and the one open on his tummy is entitled "Retiring Wealthy".

Retirement3.JPGThanks for all the lovely comments, everyone! I added a bow to the bears head to change it into a girl as I thought that would be more appropriate for my friend. I gave it to her this morning and she was quite tickled with it! I'll post the new photo.
