It´s fallin´ on my collar
That wet white mess called snow
a cold December outside
four months in a row
I shovel it off in the evening
and then salve my back
I wake up in the morning
more snow – What the heck!!
Look at the kids
What a frozen beauty
sleding just out of
pure duty
It´s so freakin´ cold
thirty below
the car won´t make a sound
anti freezer? There it goes!

that the roads are covered in snow
Even the Pendolino (=a train - joy and pride of the Czech railways:-))) had to stop
its CD drives are frozen up
- And the cops?
they´re securing it from afar

In the Highlands they closed up the D1
the trucks had a real nice run
the so called rally Winter Tires
the drivers with their loaded trucks
were in a hurry
and now they´re...

And in Prague? A siberian calamity!
Two inches of snow
and by the Museum three
As I can see
snow covered mountains stretching far
I´m thinkin´Forefather Czech
what a dumbass you are!
If you´d settled
a few more miles down south
I´d be walkin´ in my swimsuit
all year round
Instead – I´m frightened to go to the mall
seeing the heaps of snow that might fall
And as my face and my hands
are freezing
