Hi everybody,
after making almost only bears around 15" I have finished 2 little ones: Kiki (7") and her sister Tara (6").
Both are crocheted from "magic thread" which becomes "fur like" after being brushed.
Hugs,
Marion
Precious little girls and sweet little outfits. Everytime I look at your bears I have to remind myself they are knitted. They're just beautiful.
Awwww, they are so adorable Marion
I love those two, especially the outfits are cute.
The Yarn you used, is is similar to the Crocheted Cotton, or finer?
Rita
They are great. I can't believe they are crochet! Awesome
What precious water babies. I was worried there a tad thinking the blueeyeed darling was going to end up dinner in that pot.
They are really delightful!!! You didnt say what you plans you have for them?
Wendy
Thank you all for the nice comments.
Marlys: It doesn't make a difference, but the bears and outfits are crocheted.
Rita: The yarn I used for the outfits is very fine cotton. The yarn for the bears is different. You crochet with it and after your work is done you brush it and the brushed yarn turns "furry".
Wendy: These are my plans: I will take the two bears on Saturday to a show where they might find an adoptive mommy. By the way, the pot is not a pot (as in cooking), but a bath tub. You can't really see it in the pictures but it gas grooves on the sides. I brought it one year from the Euro-Teddy in Essen.
It was so inviting to take a picture with the little bear in it. It reminded me of one of my daughters sitting in a bathtub fully dressed when she was approx. 3 years old. lol
Hugs,
Marion
They are gorgeous Marion, I would never have guessed that they were crocheted.
Warm wishes
