Okay. So here I am Thursday evening working hard on airbrushing a lion and tiger that I had promised to get done by the weekend when my daughter announced that she had to be at her Jazz Band Concert in ten minutes! OOPS...it had slipped my mind.
Scrambling to get my paints cleaned up because we were now in a big hurry, my son Joey pokes his head around the corner of the door to my workshop....smiling.....well...look at the photos.
This is my daughter Rachel's handywork.
Amazingly Rachel was able to remove the Sharpie marker from his face and we all made it to the concert in time...don't ask me how.
What beautiful children you have Judi - and they wouldn't be children if they didn't get up to a bit of mischief
Warm wishes
Pauline
  Thanks Pauline. You're so right...they wouldn't be children if they didn't do things like this.
My oldest daughter, who had to be at the concert, laughed so hard while my jaw just dropped. Then I laughed.
They have to act like this, otherwise you will not have any funny stories to tell when they are older....
Oh isn't this the truth Ellen!? Infact, I got a little diary-type book this year and started writing down the funny things my children do and say so we can all look back years down the road. Stuff like this is priceless.

That is priceless Judi!!!!!

Ha!
hehe!!! My girls did about the same, but with GREEN... ALL OVER!! That stuff takes awhile to get off.
But YES! Wonderful memories!!
Nice! My son used a Sharpie to color on my husbands new laptop. I'll have to dig up the photo.
    Very nice artwork!! They do look very mischievious, don't they?

Adorable kids, Judi! Love Rachel's artwork!
I totally understand about the markers. I've tried to "outlaw" them from even being brought into our house... of course we have 6 children  , so many things "pass under the radar" that shouldn't. Believe it or not, permanent markers are an everyday struggle here. This avitar is a picture of our youngest, Kianna, who "never" does anything wrong. Yeh...right...pictures can be deceiving, no doubt...especially around my house! Hahaha!
Judi, Your bears are just as beautiful as you are!
Karen
Judi that is so cute, so glad you see the funny side too I laugh at so much of what my niece and nephew do, with my sister giving me a stern "don't laugh" look lol
Karen (realfurbears) What a precious photo, and daughter Love her name too
ha ha ha, you know where they got that little moose-stash and eyeglasses from, right? Edmund drew the exact thing on the mountain lion who was frozen by the witch in Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Wonderful work! lol

Isn't that the truth!
You know how she removed it? She told me with spit and her finger. EEEEWE!
Several years ago Rachel colored a kitten's face with blue marker. I wish I had a photo. The kitten was fine....and very colorful!
*giggle*
Judi, cool!
And I think it´s exceptional, that he let her do this to him
And I can really imagine all the chaotic stress you had...
