Thank you everyone so very very much. I get nervous about posting awards and publicity because I do not want to boast in any way. No matter how many awards or nominations or any time a photos is published in a magazine it is still just as exciting and thrilling as the first time.
I do hope all of you will continue to enter and submitt your work into competitions and magazines. Winning a competition does not make anyone a better artist but it certainly encourages one to push themselve to see what lies deep in your soul. Liek I say...Shoot for the moon..........
Hey Judi -
I bet you'll be gllad to get Narni home - she is one well-travelled bear, isn't she? I saw her last year at the Golden George competition, didn't I??? I got my KiXXi back from the British Bear Artist Awards in Feb.- poor little bear had been away since late november, and barely had time to blink before he set off for his new home in Australia.....come to think of it - they lead quite exciting lives!

Sonya
Thanks Maria and Sonya.
Yes, Maria, I will be glad to get my bears and tiger back from Japan. I had three that were nominated whichI had to send off last summer. I have been corresponding with Ritsuko, the editor of Japan Teddy Bear magazine, who has made me feel very confident that my bears and tiger were being looked well after . Yes, my Narni did go to Germany for the Golden George. She also was nominated for a Golden Teddy in 2006 but the did not win any of them until now. I have a special place for her in my cabinet when she returns. It's all very exciting.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone.
