My bday was yesterday... (yeah, I know... I don't have it listed here in my profile  )  I don't normally post things about it... but....

Hubby was so excited that he made me open my present in the morning... before he went to work.  I think I screamed when I opened the box!!!!!

He has never given me an artist bear before.... and this one (as if you couldn't guess!) is Zebeddee a Back Road Bear by Daphne!!!!  I think I screamed louder than when he's given me jewelry LOL!!!!

I had planned on spending the rest of the day re-organizing my studio and trying to finish up a special order bunny I have...  I also went out to lunch with a friend from Bob's work.

Bob asked me what plans I had for the day.... I said working on bears.  Terry asked me what I was doing after lunch... I said working on bears.

But... WHAT did I do after lunch?  I didn't "go shopping" as my hubby said... I just went to 3 stores to "pick up a few things"      It was for the re-organization of my studio!!!  (I swear!)

Well, got a call when I walked into the 2nd store... hubby checking to see how I'm enjoying my day (or so I thought)  Told him I was at Hobby Lobby.

Then I went to Target....  got another call from hubby... (this is about 2 hours after lunch)  He told me "well, I have to let the cat out of the bag.... I'm having flowers delivered and the florist has tried 2 times but you aren't home yet...."

I apologized... I was sorry for wrecking his surprise! 

So... I check out quickly and get home.... press the garage door opener.... and see this......

So..... if you couldn't guess by now.... I got NOTHING done for the rest of the day  :crackup:

You lucky lucky girl!!! You must be the best wife on earth!!! I echo though what Mindy said can I give my hubby your hubby's number???? Or is he vying for the spot in TB&F for the good bear guy contest?!!!

I posted earlier but it hasn't shown up...that happens to me occasionally so I don't know where my messages go...

But anyway...Wow...I would have been thrilled with one of Daphne's bears, but if I ever came home and found a red Mercedes...or any color...I'd first think I wasn't at my house and then I'd have a heart attack.

My husband often tells me "that there's just nothing else to buy you, that you have everything..." Of course, that's not true.

Well, I've copied your entire post and sent it to him at his office, and told him the next time he can't think of a thing to get me, he needs to revisit your post. For good measure, I also sent it to the husband of my dearest friend as well.

You are a lucky, lucky girl and your husband is a terrific guy!

Laura, Bob started a 'thing' here too..... I've spotted a cute little blue BMW convertible that the dogs and I would look great in..... the dogs and I have birthday's 10 days apart from eachother so I thought it would be a great gift... kill 3 birds with one stone! Henry's reaction was the same .... "You Wish!"

You better keep Bob under lock and key, Laura! He's apt to be kidnapped by a bunch of bear makin' ladies!

Honey, I think that your time on the teddy bear boards is just about up...I REALLY can't have you reading stuff like this....  ;-)

If you could get me this fella's phone number for me, I'd like to have a few well-chosen words with him...it seems that he's REALLY messing things up for the rest of us.

Seriously, it's a very nice gesture, and the execution of the plan seems pretty good too.  I'm suitably impressed.  And just as soon as I win the lottery, I'm gonna surpass him, too.

Thank you too!!  I DO have a great guy!   His mother's response when he told her what he got me was "Hey, I've known you longer!"  :crackup:   He gets his sense of humor from his mom!!
