twobearsweb.JPGHere's a couple of bears I finished recently. The smaller one is "Chloe"  at 12" and is made in mock mohair (pattern by Gerry Warlow). She has a nice little top made from old doilies. It was supposed to be a skirt, but I measured wrong.  bear_ermm  The other bear I made while doing EBearz Beginner Bears course (15" Bruin pattern). I had fun doing an orange nose on this little girl. I decided to have some fun with ribbons with these bears.

Therese: your bears are darling. So cute. It brought to mind the post under "general" that Bobbie posted of the video of the otters holding hands and not wanting to be seperated....Your bears made me think of that....

I just love how they are snuggled together! Great job on them. I have never heard of mock mohair, does it feel the same? What is it made from?

Mock mohair is basically synthetic designed to look and feel like mohair (at least that is what I was told). I prefer mohair, as the mock mohair I used was a little stretchy. It came with the kit I bought for the teddy, so thats why I used it.

One bear is mine and the other is a gift for my sister. So these bears could also be called sisters.. bear_wub Maybe thats why they look like they don't want to be separated.
