This is one in a series of postcards by Charles Twelvetrees drawn in 1906.
I have the whole collection and then some but this is my absolute favorite!
I just plucked this photo off the internet, postcard is not in good condition.
My hubby collects real photo postcards of the area he grew up in and goes to lots of postcard shows. I always send him with a list of ones I want! bear_original

And this is a print he did that I absolutely love... something about the innocense... all that's missing is a teddy bear but the puppy is just as good!

I collect cards by molly brett--she has some really cute teddy ones- they were popular in the 60's and I usually find them on e-bayfrom sellers in the UK . Check them out if you are interested. Just do a search for Molly Brett postcards. Racey Helps in another great one. All kinds of cute animals, fairies, etc, in both kinds. I take sets of three with a similar theme and put them together in a frame. They look great and make nice gifts for a baby's room. ! Ginny

I'm 100 days late for this one, but it's the first chance I've had to sit with the scanner!  bear_rolleyes   bear_grin

Here a just a few of my favorites....  the first here is actually a Union Pacific child's menu, it's really tiny too...just 4.5 inches tall.

Here are just a few more.... I love going through these cards!  I had planned to make copies and make "ornaments" from them.  Maybe this coming Christmas.  Have you ever seen old cards and post cards that are between glass, foiled at the edges and then hung with a copper chain.  They're so pretty that way.  I have all the supplies from doing stained glass....just have to do it already!  bear_laugh
