I want to try and make some Fairy Wings and someone said to use liquid sculpey. I went to Micheals and they don't have it.
Where do you buy it from??
Jane
Our Hobby Lobby has it and of course it's available online. I'm 'pretty sure' I saw it at Dick Blick's too.
Hi Jane, I usually buy my fimo/sculpy online at http://www.clayprincess.com.au/.
BUT, I found a Canadian website that sells liquid sculpey - here's the url: http://www.kjpcrafts.com/liquidsculpey.html
Hi Jane.....
Michael's does carry Liquid Sculpey.. your store must have been out of stock....look with the clay products....
Thanks Ilze, I will check out the Cdn website.
Veronica I asked the sales lady and she said they have never stocked it. So frustrating! I guess I'll have to order online UGH.
Jane
That is weird because it is listed in their catalogue... but...now I want to know so I will go to mine tomorrow and check .....
Hello I bought mine from Michaels in Lethbridge, I have yet to try it though. How do you make the wings? A mold ?
I think I will have to go back to Michaels and talk to someone else although I did go up and down almost every isle looking for it!
There is a tutorial here somewhere if you search for wings or fairy wings. I have the instructions from another board so I will e-mail it to you today or tomorrow.

Jane, do they have a Michael's in Redcilff? or are you talking Medicine Hat? because if the one in Medicine Hat doesn't have it I can always get you some and send it to you and then you can pay me through money order.
I just posted "Wings made with Liquid Sculpey" with picture & how I did them.
Hugs &
Thanks Brenda - I'm going to phone the store today (its the one in Med Hat) and see if they can get it in since the Lethbridge store has it. Although I might take you up on your offer. Thank you so much.
Jane
Not a problem Jane!
Hi Jane
I'm in Edmonton & I looked for it at Michaels for a while and even asked about it until I saw the bottle and it actually says
"Bakable Transfer Color Medium" in big block letters and "Liquid Sculpey" in a wierd not easily read logo on the bottle. It was with the clays.
Good Luck!
