I'd like to introduce you to my biggest bear yet! This is Oscar and he is 17" tall and a completely new pattern. He is made from black and chocolate brown mohair and has a growler in his tummy. I thoroughly enjoying making this chap although I couldn't believe the amount of stuffing he used....and how long he took to stuff!! The 4th picture shows Oscar as my biggest bear with my smallest stitched bear sitting on top of his foot called Pip. Both will be coming to Botleigh Grange show with me on 6th May.
Oh Gemma he is beautiful. I love the chocolate brown and black together. I truly love your bears!!!

Oooooooooooooooooooooh, NICE one, Gemma. Love him!
Gemma, he is simply gorgeous! Love that face, absolutely terrific color combination! Are his pawpads needle-felted? They are perfect!

What a face! beautiful nose...he is just great.
Definitely would be a long time to stuff compared to the minis.... have to say I prefer making the smaller bears myself...
He is lovely Gemma
and he sure is BIG.
Well done and good luck with your show.
A very lovely bear, Gemma. Love the big feet and their detail.
Hugs, Nancy
Love that color combination and he has a beautiful face...I kinda hope Oscar and Pip will go together to the same person. They look very attached to each other.

Wonderful, Gemma! Love his feet - are they needle felted?
Thank you so much everyone! Yes his feet are needlefelted - I tend to do that on most of my bears.
He was made to sell at the show but one of my mailing list customers saw him on my website and has pleaded with me to sell him to her. I was adamant first of all that he would be saved for the show, but my customer asked if she could possibly buy him and I send him after the show. It wasn't the sale of him at the show that I was worried about but the fact that I would have no bears on my table!! Soooo, he will be going to live in New Mexico in May! To be honest with you, I'm really glad that he is....this particular customer seems like a lovely lady and she has obviously fallen for him big style from what she has said in emails.....so, at least he'll be well-loved!
I hope to make another big bear for the show too - which I will be offering for sale!.
Well you know how I feel about him. LOVE him!!! Good luck with the show. How are the wedding plans?
Gemma, he's gorgeous!! Great color combinationand lovely paws.
Thank you Jenn and Tami!
How are the wedding plans?
Nearly all done! It's only 4 months away (well nearly)!! I had my veil arrive this morning and a wedding ring cushion yesterday - makes it all seem very 'real'!!
Absolutely chock full of character and detail!!
Warmest bear hugs,
