I think these are lemurs? What strange creatures. I wonder what the reason was for the bright orange eyes? You'd think they would be at a disadvantage in the wilds?

Hi Karen, you would think the big orange eyes would be a bad thing in the wild!

What a strange place, Madagascar! Apparently there are a few strange predators. I don't know if they hunt lemurs?

You've got to see this!!!  Click on the link that Karen gave two posts above, then scroll down to the 5th lemur - an Indri.  Then click on the link that says "Hear the Indri's song".  After you hear the mournful song, hit some of the links below that to see how the lemur moves.  It hops sideways and is hilarious!!!  Have fun . . . I did!
