Hi all!

I know many of us have shared how we take pictures of our bears.  I've taken bits and pieces of everything that I've read... and came up with my own "portable studio" :)

I've written about in my my blog if you wanted to give it a try yourself!

Thanks Jane!  I adore Shelli's photo studio.... but it just wasn't feasible for me right now.  I needed something I could store in the garage (and lift by myself!)

That's pretty cool! I could never really picture how people used frames like that to create a light tent.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing these.  DH wants to know what are the exact lightbulbs you're using?  It just says 200 watt bulbs on the site.

LOL Daphne!   I'll see what I can do  bear_flower

Chrissie you are welcome!  I used regular old incandescent bulbs.  GE Soft White in this case.  I got them at Home Depot.

Thanks Laura
Was jusr wondering about using the 500 watt halogen work lights insead of the incadesent bulbs.  This would reduce the fire danger.   Not sure if the halogen bulbs would give proper lighting.

I believe the halogen lights would work Bill!!  Just do your "white balance" setting with those and you are all set.

I am very comfortable using the set up I have because I don't leave the lights on for more than 10 minutes.  I wanted to emphasise the potential of the fire hazard to be on the safe side bear_original
