Sophie Z'OursWell, girls, a few of you asked for it and even thought they missed the thread.
Well, actually, I did not post anything about it.
I did not take time for it.
So to remind you all about it.
This show was on the sunday and monday of Easter week-end in France in a place named Mortemer Abbey in Lisors (Normandy).
The venue was wonderful as well as the weather.
The show was a small one as we were less than 20 exposants.
Our tables were installed mainly in the main floor expect the belgian people who were installed in two rooms upstairs.
I had really a wonderful time there and had opportunities to chat with wonderfuly nice artists.
I only sold one bear: Kiwi. But it does not matter if the others did not sale.
Not many bears were sold for all artists execpt a few ones. I did not ask all artisits how well they sold though, but quite a few of them! Betty and the guys from Vintage Bears sound to be the luckiest ones for their sales. Betty's bears are very colourful and funny bears.
Jerome and Colette's bears (from Vintage Bears) are very traditional bears filled with woodwool with that typical look of our grandmother's bears! some must have bears, to my view point. I have not been far to buy one. Another time, I will, definately.
On sunday only, the sales were good the lucky artists as a few collectors came, but on monday, almost only passing-by people visited us and very few bears were sold (sort of exception for Vintage Bears, as collectors and other artists came at the last moment almost to treat themselves with one of his bears)...
In that post i will show you pictures from Rouen, the closest big town.
When you visit Rouen, you must not miss the "Gros horloge" (a huge clock) nor the cathedral.
