I just wanted to stop in, post a few times, and say hi and goodbye this morning. I'm feeling so very out of touch with everyone and just don't have time to post much at all right now. We have been dealing with heavy rains the past two weeks, and the subsequent flooding of our basement and barn. Twice!! 
Our ground is so saturated.....was already before we got the 10 1/2 inches of rain here lately. There is no room for any of it to soak in, so in my barn and basement it goes, leaving us with a huge mess. Interestingly enough though, our foundation didn't leak much (we had repair previous problems already)....it was water flowing into the basement from a drain that goes out to the yard. That's a lot of water pressure to send it inside like that! 
The basement is cleaned up yet again, but the barn is an awful mess. And not much we can do in there until it dries out a bit more on its own. Yuck.....so not looking forward to that one! I have a plan to hire my son and a few of his friends to spend a day cleaning out old, wet hay. They like making money, so I think that one will work, hee hee! 
And it certainly is a job they deserve to get paid for........nasty, nasty, nasty! This is the first time we've ever had water in our barn.......and I pray it's the very last too.
So, you all know what I've been up to lately.......not playing though I wish I were! 
I am so very far behind right now, haven't had time for the forums or to get much done with bear making. Also haven't answered numerous emails, so those that are waiting to hear back from me, please know I will answer as soon as I can. I feel bad about that! :redface:
Also wanted to say how wonderful all the creations are that I've seen in the Showcase and Bears and Friends. Amazing work everyone!! 
I so wish I had time to post individually........promise to make up for it later. 
Oh, and the 'baby' pictures!! All the puppies and kittens and even squirrels......I want them all!!
So, I'm off again and probably won't be back for awhile. Not until I get caught up again anyway. Miss you all and will 'see' you soon.....fingers crossed.

Past Time BearsOooooh, Tracy, I feel for you about all the rain you've had and the subsequent flooding. We're going to miss you a bunch and hope you can get back before too long. We're really soggy down here, too - got 4 inches of rain in 2 hours Sunday night on top of 5 inches we had the week before. I wish you success in getting it all cleaned up with the help of those teens!
